The woods are lovely dark and deep
But I've promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep...
So on I walked where the dreams align,
Through wandering winds that never sleep;
My heart a lantern by design,
For the hopes I've vowed to hold and keep.
I walk not just to reach an end,
But understand the road I tread;
For meaning is the quite friend
That waits where thought and journey weds.
I walk because my purpose calls,
A vow that will not fade or bend;
Some dreams require breaking walls,
Not waiting for the world to mend.
I March with fire beneath my feet;
Strength is the only promise I must keep,
And moving forward is the only beat.
